STARTER CULTURE EVENTS

Starter Culture is a community-led events project focused on creating a platform for emerging creatives, DJs, and artists to come together, experiment, and be seen on a high production value stage.

Born out of Melbourne’s underground music scene, Starter Culture began as a series of non-for-profit, pop-up raves designed to support up-and-coming DJs, particularly those coming through the Your Shot DJ Competition. What started as a simple idea has grown into a platform for connection, collaboration, and culture-building.

We’ve hosted 3 events so far including over 50+ DJs, fire performers, sound company’s, brand collabs, and one epic stage for electronic music.
